This office requires that commodity codes for all products and services we purchase be assigned to all vendors with whom we do business. This system of commodity codes will be used extensively to procure products or services and to invite appropriate vendors to furnish bids. Therefore, it is extremely important that you review the enclosed commodity List and complete the Vendor List Application, noting the commodity code(s) for which your business wishes to furnish goods and services and/or receive invitations to bid.

Applications which do not include a Federal Employer Identification Number (F.E.I.N.) or a Social Security Number will be automatically rejected.

All minority and woman-owned businesses that are not currently certified should also contact the Cook County Office of Contract Compliance at (312) 603-5502 for information about becoming certified.
