Legislation & Intergovernmental Relations
Committee is a standing committee comprised of nine commissioners and is responsible
for reviewing and approving the President's recommended appointments to various local
Boards and Commissions in Cook County. The committee also reviews and recommends positions
on State and Federal legislation impacting Cook County government's authority, fiscal
operations, facilities and criminal justice, public health and real estate tax services.
