following item and upon adoption of this report, the recommendation is as

Commissioner Gorman, seconded by Commissioner Maldonado, moved to
Receive and File Communication No. 283399.

Your Committee has considered the bids submitted on the
items hereinafter described in accordance with the specifications prepared by
the

Superintendent of Highways, submitting recommendations on the award of
contracts for said items, and recommends that the contracts be upon the
adoption of this Report, awarded as follows:

Contract awarded to:
James D. Fiala Paving Company, Inc. $4,271,872.00

$1,550,150.75
The deposit checks are ordered returned to the unsuccessful
bidders at once and to the successful bidder upon the signing of the contract.
Vice Chairman Gorman, seconded by Commissioner Butler, moved to concur with
the recommendations in awarding the contracts.
The motion carried.
Commissioner Quigley, seconded by Commissioner Murphy moved to adjourn
the meeting. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
