on Rules & Administration of the Board of Commissioners of Cook County met
pursuant to notice on

recommendations are as follows:

Commissioner Daley requested that these journals be deferred
in order to allow for additional time to ensure that Commissioners and the
Clerk of the Board are in agreement as to the content and accuracy of the
journals.
Chairman Moreno advised the Committee that his staff had
distributed a memorandum which contained procedures for the Committee’s
handling of Journals of Proceedings.
This memorandum included suggestions for Commissioners and chairmen of committees
to follow for review of Journals, and provided a schedule with deadlines for
corrections or requests for the Clerk of the Board to review a particular motion
or vote contained in a Journal.
Subsequent schedule dates were also stated in the memorandum so that the
Committee can stay current with the approval of Journals.
Commissioner Daley,
seconded by Commissioner Silvestri, moved to defer Communication Numbers
284039, 284040 and 284395. The motion carried.
Chairman Moreno asked the Secretary to the Board to call
upon the registered public speakers.

moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Commissioner Sims. The motion carried and the meeting was
adjourned.
