Your Committee on Zoning and Building, having had under consideration the matter hereinafter mentioned, respectfully reports and recommends as follows:

Your Committee has considered the following items and upon the adoption of this report the recommendations are as follows:

GRZYBEK, Owner, Application:  Variation to reduce front yard setback from 30 feet to 26 feet 1 inch for a front porch addition in the R-5 Single Family Residence District.  The subject property consists of approximately 0.50 of an acre, located on the north side of Barry Avenue, approximately 150 feet west of Lee Street/Roberta Avenue in Leyden Township.  Recommendation:  That the application be granted.

MAJERCZAK, Owner,  Application:  Variation to reduce front yard setback from 30 feet to 25 feet for a proposed addition to a single family residence in the R-5 Single Family Residence District.  The subject property consists of approximately 0.36 of an acre, located on the south side of Brookfield Avenue, approximately 100 feet east of North Lee Street in Wheeling Township.  Recommendation:  That the application be granted.

Variation to reduce right side yard setback from 30 feet to 7 feet for a shed in the R-4 Single Family Resident District.  The subject property consists of approximately 1.25 acres located on the south side of Palm Drive, approximately 410 feet west of Wedgewood Drive in Palatine Township, County Board District #14.  Recommendation:  That the application be granted as amended.

Objectors:       None

 

Commissioner Goslin, seconded by Vice Chairman Murphy, moved the approval of Communication Nos. 281332, 283363, 284759, 291491 and 291492 as amended. The motion carried unanimously.

 

Vice Chairman Murphy moved to adjourn.  Seconded by Commissioner Moreno, the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
